  • Domain Expertise: Can synthesize tests based on Design of Experiment scenarios to new and complex hardware/firmware solutions to achieve scalable manufacturing under tight timelines; proven track record of introducing new products and scaling them to 100ks+ of units produced per year
Responsibilities
  • Work with all the engineering team members to develop reliable, cost effective designs that can be produced at scale
  • Sustain the current product manufacturing to overcome any part shortages with the goal of keeping the production going at the highest quality and lowest cost
  • Apply principles of electronics and electrical design, including digital, analog, RF, and mixed signal systems
  • Participate in design reviews for EE, FW, ME and test for manufacturability
  • Troubleshoot system design issues using systematic root cause analysis methods
  • Execute HW verification and validation test protocols
  • Gain a clear sense of architecture for new product tests along with all the regulatory requirements ahead of launching or testing any new design
  • Collaborate with the HW Ops (manufacturing) team to architect, develop, implement, and sustain test fixture designs throughout the product life cycle
  • Collaborate with HW Ops (Quality) to triage yield hitters and to drive Failure Analysis (FA) alongside the engineering team to understand and address root cause and consistently improve manufacturing yield
Desired Qualifications
  • Advanced principles of design (e.g. Electromagnetic Compatibility, Electrostatic Discharge, and ultra low power, RF)
  • Experience with manufacturing management for RF/BLE-based medical electronics devices
  • Experience with medical device development and manufacturing (ISO13485)
  • Ability to write and debug test fixture firmware to deliver required test coverage. RF/BLE experience preferred
  • Ability to write test scripts and maintain factory codebase to meet product requirements on every device we ship
