Responsibilities

Review loan system exception reports, including system-generated and ad hoc reports, to validate the accuracy of GL and sub ledger processing, and work with original entry resource to clear any exception
System expert in how the Loan Accounting system and GL interface operates. Assist in resolving issues related to sub-ledger to GL activity
Interacts with the Corporate Accounting and Finance team members to resolve accounting issues
Provide assistance with daily manual reconciliation of all loan general ledger accounts as needed
Identifies training requirements through analysis of repetitive errors and provides information to management for resolution
Assist with the training of new Loan Accounting team members
Complete special projects as assigned by Director Loan Accounting

Desired Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or related field
Experience with loan funding
Experience with processing of loan payments, advances and escrow accounting

What You’ll Accomplish
