  • Expert Level networking knowledge, including configuration and troubleshooting of Cisco and HP networking equipment (Switches, Routers, firewalls).
  • Deep experience with Microsoft Azure, particularly in networking (e.g, Vnets, ExpressRoute, Azure firewall, network security groups).
  • Hands on experience supporting physical data centres, including hardware, operating systems, and network infrastructure.
  • Strong understanding of virtualisation technologies, especially VMWARE.
  • Proficient windows server 2019/2022, including roles such as DNS, DHCP and Active Directory.
  • Skilled in incident management and cross-team communication, with the ability to clearly articulate technical issues and solutions.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
Responsibilities
  • Act as technical lead for network and cloud operations as well as cross-team projects.
  • Act as technical lead for network and cloud projects, including migrations, upgrades, and security initiatives.
  • Be at the forefront of Rimes engineering capabilities. You will participate in architectural decision-making, mentoring junior engineers, troubleshooting complex technical issues, and driving the adoption of best practices in network and cloud operations management.
  • Build systems and implement innovative technologies to support next generation Rimes platform in our Data Center and the Cloud.
  • Optimize datacenter Infrastructure to improve performance, utilisation, availability and security, whilst controlling costs.
  • Maintain observability best practices to measure compliance with Rimes SLO’s.

DriveWealth, a financial technology platform providing Brokerage-as-a-Service, has expanded its executive leadership team with the introduction of Barry Metzger as Chief Brokerage Officer (CBO) and appointment of Emily Chardac as Chief People Officer (CPO), according to a company statement. Metzger brings decades of experience across leadership positions in financial services, including senior roles at Charles Schwab and as CEO of optionsXpress. Chardac brings extensive experience scaling fintech and financial services organizations, most recently as Chief People Officer at OnePay. Matti Konsala has joined Citi as an equities algo trader, based in London, Global Trading reported. Konsala has a decade of industry experience and joins Citi after more than seven years at Goldman Sachs. He was most recently vice president of equities algo strategies at the firm.
