Requirements
  • Understanding of electrical circuits and mechanical systems, machining and manufacturing processes
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills (especially Microsoft Excel)
  • 2 years of experience in aerospace
  • Fluent in French and/or Spanish would be a plus
Responsibilities
  • Uses systematic, data-driven problem-solving processes such as 8D, A3, DMAIC, PDCA to solve design and manufacturing problems
  • Contributes to the development of engineering and design validation test procedures per Military, SAE, RTCA DO-160, Customer(s) and EN standards, performs testing as needed, and documents results with support of more experienced team members
  • Evaluates use of non-conforming parts, processes, and assemblies to determine their usability in the end product while ensuring that the quality and functionality of the product will be maintained
  • Ability to read/understand prints (including GD&T), routings, bill of materials, and process sheets.
