Integration Engineer @ Mujin

Mujin is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Integration Engineer who can provide integration support for robotic system solutions. As an Integration Engineer at Mujin, you will collaborate with a world-class team of doers and dive into challenging technical problems to deliver our solutions. This role requires a combination of engineering knowledge, problem solving, curiosity, innovation, leadership, and communication. You will play a critical role in integration for robotic arm deployments, providing remote and onsite support. You will need troubleshooting and analysis skills while understanding and adopting best practices.

Responsibilities

Draft and finalize system layouts in AutoCAD
Document and execute engineering and project deliverables to project specifications
Work with vendors to deliver components to required specifications
Build and maintain system BoMs, spare parts lists, and user manuals
Build shipping lists for projects to organize material for logistics team
Build test plans for projects including all required functional and performance scenarios
Set up all equipment for Mujin systems including industrial robots, AGVs, safety devices, end effectors, cameras, lighting, compressed air, robot controllers, and vision systems
Provide functional testing and hardware support for all systems
Document installation and testing processes
Support installation and configuration of Mujin controller and other equipment at customer sites
Provide support for systems deployed to remote customer sites
Work with design team to provide feedback on designs for continuous improvement
Be hands-on and capable of light fabrication as needed for projects

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in engineering, robotics, or related technical field with a minimum of 3years of experience in the following:
Industrial design (electrical or mechanical) with the ability to generate CAD models or electrical drawings (SolidWorks and AutoCAD is a plus)
Read and interpret specification sheets, layout, and manufacturing drawings
Capable ofpurchasing necessary mechanical and electrical components from suppliers
Safeguarding, maintenance, and manipulation of industrial robots

Willingness to travel domestically up to 35% of the year, as required by project demands, allowing you to provide onsite support and engage with customers effectively

Preferred:

Hands-on experience with six and seven-axis robot arm task creation, conveyor belt systems, industrial sensors, industrial laser cutting, CNC, etc.
Coding proficiency in C++, Python, and other languages using Linux, PLC
Experience with compressed air systems and air capacity sizing
