Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in engineering, robotics, or related technical field with a minimum of 3 years of experience
  • Industrial design (electrical or mechanical) with the ability to generate CAD models or electrical drawings
  • Read and interpret specification sheets, layout, and manufacturing drawings
  • Capable of purchasing necessary mechanical and electrical components from suppliers
  • Safeguarding, maintenance, and manipulation of industrial robots
  • Willingness to travel domestically up to 35% of the year
Responsibilities
  • Draft and finalize system layouts in AutoCAD
  • Document and execute engineering and project deliverables to project specifications
  • Work with vendors to deliver components to required specifications
  • Build and maintain system BoMs, spare parts lists, and user manuals
  • Build shipping lists for projects to organize material for logistics team
  • Build test plans for projects including all required functional and performance scenarios
  • Set up all equipment for Mujin systems including industrial robots, AGVs, safety devices, end effectors, cameras, lighting, compressed air, robot controllers, and vision systems
  • Provide functional testing and hardware support for all systems
  • Document installation and testing processes
  • Support installation and configuration of Mujin controller and other equipment at customer sites
  • Provide support for systems deployed to remote customer sites
  • Work with design team to provide feedback on designs for continuous improvement
  • Be hands-on and capable of light fabrication as needed for projects
