- Hold a current driver's license.
- Occasionally lift or move more than 50 pounds.
- Work with tools on vehicles lifted above the technician's head.
- Work in tight spaces as required by the vehicle repair.

- Perform maintenance and repair services, including oil changes, tire rotations, battery replacements, suspension alignments, and related services.
- Perform state-mandated vehicle emission and safety inspections in accordance with state regulations.
- Work as part of a team to troubleshoot guest concerns quickly and effectively.
- Complete full, accurate, and honest courtesy vehicle inspections.
- Ensure preventive maintenance reports are complete and accurate.
- Comply with federal, state, and local regulations affecting service operations, including hazardous-waste disposal and OSHA right-to-know requirements.
- Assist with housekeeping functions as directed by management.
- Communicate the extent of vehicle damage or malfunctions to the service department.
- Follow and promote standards of safety, cleanliness, and organization.
- A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred but not required.
