We are seeking a detail-oriented Project Accountant for one of our top clients. The Accountant will be responsible for overseeing the financial aspects of assigned projects, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting, and maintaining compliance with accounting standards and company policies.

Responsibilites

Project Financial Management: Monitor and manage the financial performance of assigned projects, including budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
Cost Tracking: Track project costs, manage expenditures, and ensure proper allocation of costs to projects.
Billing and Invoicing: Prepare and process project-related invoices, ensuring accuracy and timely submission.
Financial Reporting: Generate and review project financial reports, providing insights and recommendations to project managers and senior management.
Compliance: Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements.
Audit Support: Assist in internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations.
Collaboration: Work closely with project managers, finance team, and other departments to ensure seamless financial management of projects.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
3+ years of progressive accounting experience
Strong understanding of GAAP principles and financial reporting standards.
