You will coordinate core undergraduate epidemiology subjects and innovate curricula that inspire future public health professionals.
You will grow your teaching portfolio in an education-focused role within Australia’s leading population and global health school.
Coordinate POPH30003 Real World Epidemiology and POPH20002 Introduction to Epidemiology, including tutorials,assessmentsand teaching teams.
Develop engaging online materials, subject resources and assessment tasks that enhance student learning and experience.
Support students in the Public Health and Epidemiology Major, including course information and progression guidance.
Contribute to developing and implementing undergraduate opportunities in epidemiology with the Major Coordinator and colleagues.
Engage in scholarly activity and disciplinary research that informs curriculum design and keeps teaching current.
You may be a great fitifyou:
Hold a PhD in epidemiology, public health or a closely related discipline, or equivalent professional qualification.
Havedemonstratedexperience teaching epidemiology in higher education.
Havecoordinatedsubjects end-to-end, including curriculumcoordination, assessment development, Canvas sitemanagementand Teaching Associate oversight.
Have experienceapplyingcontemporary epidemiological concepts, including causal methods and directed acyclic graphs, in teaching or research.
Havedemonstratedexperiencein epidemiological practice and research, such as infectious disease epidemiology and study design.
Cancollaborate effectively within multidisciplinary academic teams while managing priorities and meeting agreed teaching deadlines.
