Requirements
  • A high school diploma or GED is required.
  • At least one year of experience in the property or resort management industry is preferred.
  • Experience in customer service or the hospitality industry is beneficial.
  • Familiarity with resort operations and regulations is beneficial.
  • Proficiency in basic computer programs, including Microsoft Office Word, Excel, and Outlook, is required.
  • A valid driver's license is required.
  • Knowledge of budget management, strategic financial planning, and basic accounting principles is required.
  • Knowledge of federal, state, and local laws pertaining to fair housing and employment law is required.
  • Availability to respond to resort needs outside regular business hours is required.
  • The ability to lift up to 30 pounds is required.
Responsibilities
  • Ensure customers and residents receive a high level of service consistent with Roberts Epic Customer Service.
  • Respond promptly and effectively to guest and resident inquiries and address concerns as needed.
  • Collaborate with the Resort Manager and marketing department to boost reservations, increase occupancy, and enhance the Roberts Resorts brand.
  • Oversee major resort functions, including handling and resolving guest and resident concerns.
  • Assist in staffing and scheduling resort staff to ensure adequate coverage and adherence to operational procedures.
  • Serve as the primary leader in the absence of the General Manager by providing guidance and direction to resort staff.
  • Work with the General Manager and Vice President of Operations to address operational issues and ensure guest satisfaction.
  • Enforce resort rules and standards to maintain a positive and orderly environment.
  • Manage resort financial activities, including sending statements, posting rents, handling delinquent accounts, and monitoring operating budgets.
  • Communicate with resort guests through Rent Manager using email and text communications.
  • Take reservations and send reservation confirmations.
  • Monitor monthly operating budgets and prepare explanations for profit-and-loss variances.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations governing fair housing laws and resort operations.
  • Assist the General Manager and Vice President of Operations with preparing the annual operating budget as needed.
  • Market park models, pre-owned homes, and brokered homes for sale in the resort, and prepare documents to list and sell homes.
  • Provide data to support capital expenditure and expansion budget needs for the General Manager and Vice President of Operations.

  • Experience in customer service roles or the hospitality industry.
  • Familiarity with resort operations and regulations.
  • Experience with Rent Manager, ReserveAmerica, or RMS.
