- Competency in relational database structures, particularly SQL and Oracle PL/SQL.

- Experience with root cause analysis, problem solving, issue tracking, performance improvement, and support.
- Define, plan, and monitor application support activities for back-end IT applications, including troubleshooting, performance monitoring, resolution recommendations, installation, training, and script or code writing.
- Code, test, debug, document, and install new applications and programs.
- Use coding methods in specific programming languages to initiate or enhance program execution and functionality.
- Monitor program execution for expected performance.
- Respond to errors and emergencies within applications and programs.
- Provide first-tier support to end users for IT applications.
- Install code releases and patches and write scripts or programs for IT applications.
- Assist in implementing and maintaining databases and systems.
- Complete documentation for business cases, processes, analysis, functional requirements, and testing as needed.
- Facilitate planning and functional design sessions to support requirements and business solutions.
- Additional experience in billing or the wireless industry.
