As a Quality Control Technician you will support the development and implementation of a world-class quality system and drive the development of quality processes that are core to the company’s success. This is a full-time temporary position with the potential to convert to full-time employee.

Responsibilities

Inspect incoming parts, in-process, and assembled devices to ensure quality is within set parameters
Respect and enforce the principles of full traceability for products and components
Collaborate with the Quality Engineering and R&D Engineering departments as needed to assist in the validation of components/finished goods
Maintain clean and organized work areas

Required skills and experience:

Motivated and looking to grow professionally in a fast-paced environment.
Strong analytical skills, and excellent knowledge of theoretical and practical quality control fundamentals.
Technical associate’s degree; or 1-3+ years of equivalent education and professional experience
Experience with calipers, comparators and micrometers
Experience utilizing blueprints and/or drawings as part of the inspection process
Experience in lab and/or manufacturing environments
Highly organized, detailed oriented, self-starter
Strong verbal and written communication skills

Nice to have skills:

Experience with printed circuit board (PCB) inspections is preferred
Proficiency with basic Microsoft Excel formulas
Experience with data reporting and non-conformance reports (NCRs)
Experience with OGP Smartscope vision measurement systems
Medical device and clean room experience
