Requirements
  • Certification and active registration in Nuclear Medicine Technology by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT-N) and/or the Nuclear Medicine Technologist Certification Board (NMTCB).
  • Licensure in Radiologic Technology (Nuclear Medicine) by the State of Ohio Department of Health.
  • Graduate of accredited Nuclear Medicine program.
  • ARRT-Radiography preferred.
Responsibilities
  • Performs nuclear medicine In vivo and In vitro procedures using sophisticated radiation-detecting instrumentation (including SPECT and PET).
  • Accomplishes computer processing and image enhancement.
  • Provides images, data analysis, and patient information to the physician for diagnostic and therapeutic interpretation, under the direction of the Cardiologist, and the Imaging Manager.
