Responsibilities
  • Work with business leads and stakeholders to describe the nonfunctional requirements for achieving compelling customer experiences and identify and eliminate software design or implementation of faults that are negatively impacting nonfunctional requirements.
  • Ensure software design process alignment and compliance with operational procedures, site architecture, and the design of the components to enhance the ability for software components to be monitored and operated.
  • Produce modular, well-commented software code that fully complies with the tools, techniques, and best practices around quality assurance in use by the team.
  • Develop automated tests and deliver high-quality software code to production within a short development cycle in the continuous integration and delivery environment.
  • Define overall test strategy for assigned software features and scrum teams and define automation strategy and ensure testability.
  • Execute refactoring and tech debt removal initiatives as described by senior members of the team.
  • Use business domains during software design and implementation activities to create software products that support business capabilities.
  • Estimate software engineering effort, plan implementation, and roll out system changes.
  • Implement software product features focused on design activities in support of implementation by the overall team.
