Shipping Clerk

We’re hiring a Shipping Clerk!

About this position

The Shipping Clerk is responsible for the daily order picking and fulfillment of small parcel shipments. Operating and handling equipment according to safety regulations, performing general warehouse duties, and ensuring the quality and integrity of all shipments are thoroughly packed and accurate.

What you’ll do

• You will fulfill small parcel orders packed in a variety of different size mailers and boxes.
• You will keep up with GMP practices and protocols.
• You will stage, shrink wrap, and assist with the loading of palletized mail
• You will operate and utilize warehouse management systems and devices
• You must report defective materials or questionable conditions to the department supervisor.
• You will maintain the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition and follow prescribed safety regulations.

You should have

• High School Diploma or GED
• You can interpret packing slips.
• You have 1+ years of experience of order fulfillment.
• You can meet deadlines, manage multiple tasks, and effectively track details in a fast-paced environment.
• You can use RF devices or barcode scanners
• You can collaborate with others and thrive in a team environment while meeting individual goals and expectations.
• You can anticipate obstacles, communicate effectively, and plan accordingly.
• You maintain positive relationships with all departments.
