The Revenue Assurance Organization

Wholesale Wireless Revenue Assurance Team

Reshaping the future of Wholesale Wireless RA at Verizon, calls for improving our ability to deliver outstanding value to our customers. Being a part of the team, you will work alongside financial professionals and business leaders, gaining opportunities to grow and develop to build a strong
revenue assurance foundation. You will be involved in audits, audit development, project support, reporting & analysis, and guiding the strategic direction across Verizon. Explore the breadth of opportunities that come with aligning your expertise with the future of superior networks, systems,
analytics, to improve the way people live, work and play. 

• Use their knowledge of the overall end to end billing landscape/ecosystem to accelerate revenue, reduce revenue loss, and improve customer experience. 

• Responsible for identifying risks and gaps between product design and back-end IT system solutions. Recommend solutions that can be audited and re-used. Develop, enhance or automate traffic audits to improve overall billing accuracy. 

• Responsible for leading cross-functional discussions with various business units including GTS, InfoSys, Production Support, FP&A, cost assurance, product, ordering & provisioning, 3rd party vendors, and customer facing account/service teams. 

• Responsible for driving resolution of production issues, and financial fallout due to process or system failures, manual touches, gaps in design, lack of guardrails, and/or missed requirements.

• Works production and cost to revenue issues by independently conducting root cause analysis, leading the efforts to recover revenue, and define and implement permanent solutions.

• Supports strategic automation efforts. Creates and maintains audits, metrics, projects, and ticket status within Smart Sheets, JIRA  or other automation applications.

• Supports projects/new Wholesale Wireless product launches, and testing. Participates/leads all aspects of the project lifecycle including scope definition, ICD (interface control document) reviews, writing requirements and post implementation testing; driving system and process improvements when needed.

• Communicates with partners in a clear and concise manner. 

• Seasonal night or weekend availability is required for this role.

What we’re looking for...
 

 You’ll need to have:

• A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or four or more years of work experience.

• Three or more years of relevant work experience.

• Knowledge of wireless/wireline systems and processes.

• Experience with Microsoft Office and Google Suite.

• SQL knowledge.

Even better if you have one or more of the following:

• Experience with order to bill functions such as: order processing, provisioning, network architecture or billing systems.

• Experience with revenue assurance functions.

• Experience in Agile, JIRA and clarity.

• Excellent communication and presentation skills and proven ability to focus on the details.

• Experience with the Smart Sheets or other automation applications.

• Proven analytical skills and ability to work with large sets of data.
