  • Work collaboratively and bring parties together from within IT and the commercial functions.
  • Work directly with the front office teams, have a customer first approach being able to communicate effectively with different levels and disciplines within the organisation.
  • Own problems, make fast decisions, cope with the unknown and have the ability to acquire new knowledge quickly.
  • Manage, enable and empower technical teams. Ideally you will be able to understand and manage/pre-empt development life cycle risks while also having an appreciation for high level architecture. Project Management, Product definition and Functional Testing are all key skills.
  • Assist in new business onboarding and understanding impact of business change.
  • Manage products backlogs and define product visions.
  • Motivated to acquire new knowledge.
  • Highly motivated to complete projects and ‘go the extra mile’ to achieve positive outcomes for the business.
  • A very proactive individual able to handle multiple projects/work packages simultaneously.
  • Knowledge of the European Power and Gas commodity markets, including market fundamentals, trade instrument types.
  • Energy trading lifecycle / activities and teams.
  • Experience of the development life cycle – with bespoke software.
  • Proficient writing SQL queries.
  • Comfortable in Excel.
Responsibilities
  • Deliver and manage BAU and projects streams.
  • Work across Front Office Process Automation, Front Office Decision Support, and Front Office Analytics and Execution.
  • Manage project deliver as a light PM and Product Owner.
