TITLE: Product Manager, Data Delivery
LOCATION: New York, NY or Fully Remote - US
SALARY: $120,000 - $150,000 base salary
The Role:
In this role, you will combine your technical know-how and client-centric mindset to define business problems and design their solutions. You will then work with engineers and cross-functional teams to build new and impactful products to meet the growing needs of our clients. As a Product Manager, you will play a key role in taking Canoe’s transformative technology to the next level. This is an opportunity to work on important product initiatives and see them through from idea to inception in our fast-growing, dynamic financial technology company.
What You’ll Do:
- Work across teams to define and document high-quality comprehensive business requirements and product specifications including use cases, wireframes and mockups by skillfully incorporating feedback from multiple stakeholder groups into your final solution
- Break down your designs into user stories for an iterative development approach
- Collaborate with Client Success, Sales, Support, and other functional teams across the organization to deepen understanding of client use cases and pain points
- Work closely with other product managers, engineers, and testers in an agile scrum setting to manage the software development process and achieve excellence in project execution
- Produce product release communications, knowledge guides and various other go-to-market materials to drive feature adoption in the Data Delivery product space
- Provide status updates for your product area to various internal stakeholders
- Use data and tooling to analyze and monitor user engagement metrics to mine for risks and opportunities and then report on your findings
- Support existing functionality in the Data Delivery product space, including Canoe’s API and systems integrations, by triaging incoming bugs, escalated support tickets, and inquiries
What We’re Looking For:
- 3+ years experience as a Product Manager, Product Owner, Business Analyst or similar; preferably in a B2B Fintech SaaS startup environment
- Proven experience in an agile scrum software development environment, specifically with writing comprehensive user stories and conducting efficient backlog refinement sessions
- Proven experience working within a fast-paced software development environment on complex projects
- Strong work ethic, demonstrated acute attention to detail, excellent time management, and exceptional organizational skills
- Deadline oriented and a proven ability to self-manage in a remote/hybrid work setting
- Both a strong collaborative team player and focused individual contributor
- Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
- Familiarity working with and supporting APIs and system integrations, Jira or similar project management tools, and Confluence or similar collaborative documentation tools
- Experience with InVision, Figma, Illustrator, Photoshop, Balsamiq, or similar mockup and prototyping tools
