  • Bachelor of Science (BS) or higher degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Physics, or a related technical discipline from an accredited university.
  • Minimum of 5 years of industry experience as a test engineer or as a design engineer responsible for test development.
  • Minimum of 4 years of industry experience as an engineering manager with a track record of success.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of test engineers to meet company objectives, milestones, and success metrics.
  • Provide career guidance to all levels of engineers, helping them find long-term success in the company.
  • Drive the creation of hardware and software design processes and best practices to enable delivery of high-quality test solutions to our manufacturing team & customers.
  • Manage organizational alignment on test engineering common design flows, technical guidelines, and standards.
  • Create test strategies and critical milestones for new product development to enable successful customer deliveries.
  • Manage the team’s budget and personnel growth, including authorizing and approving job descriptions and making hire/no-hire decisions.
  • Ensure the quality of engineering outputs from your team.
  • Distribute workloads to engineering resources on your team.
  • Provide mentorship to engineers and prospective engineering managers.
  • Review and approve purchase requests and timesheets.
  • Evaluate employee performance and compensation.
  • As needed, delegate day-to-day technical leadership by appointing functional test leads.
