Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years of professional experience – OR – Master’s degree with 3+ years of professional experience
  • Will consider an additional 4+ years of experience in lieu of degree
  • Working knowledge of 32 CFR Part 117, NISPOM Supplements, DoDM 5205/07 V1-4, ICD 705, and ISLs.
  • Working knowledge of DoD classified programs
  • Requires an active U.S. Government DoD Top-Secret security clearance at time of application, current and within scope
  • Bachelor’s degree with 8+ years of professional experience – OR – Master’s degree with 6+ years of professional experience
  • Completion of the FSO Program Management for Possessing Facilities IS030.CU curriculum located on the Defense Counterintelligence and Security Agency’s (DCSA) Security Training, Education and Professionalization Portal (STEPP).
  • DCSA CDSE certification (SFPC, PSC, etc.) desired.
  • Completion of specialized training related to investigation and interviewing techniques.
Responsibilities
  • Support fast-paced, high-profile programs
  • Create, maintain and leverage working relationships with internal and external customers
  • Develop and administer security programs and procedures for classified or proprietary materials, documents, and equipment.
  • Routinely support new business pursuits and classified solicitation activities.
  • Investigate all security related incidents
  • Determine the occurrence of a loss, compromise, or suspected compromise of classified information for each security related incident
  • Develop effective corrective actions that can be implemented to minimize the possibility of security incident recurrence
  • Generate reports, provide analysis and track incident metrics
  • Review and interpret approach vectors used by adversaries and foreign intelligence entities
  • Evaluate countermeasures to ensure they are adequate to mitigate potential threats
  • Facilitate the ongoing awareness of threats and vulnerabilities that may impact the facility
  • Review updated Method of Contact. Method of Operations matrices and Targeting US Technologies publications from DCSA and other threat products provided by the US government
  • Create briefing material to senior management that provides information regarding approach vectors applicable to the facility
  • Assist security management in briefing senior management on how they can use threat information to make business, operational, and mission decisions
  • Participate in quarterly insider threat hubs with all relevant stakeholders
  • Work across the security team to integrate insider threat awareness into the security posture of the facility
  • Coordinate with the LMDS Division Counterintelligence and Insider Threat investigator
  • Leverage data analysis platforms to shape risk-based decisions
  • Implement a strategy that uses data to better predict security and counterintelligence threats
  • Review, evaluate, and integrate data from multiple sources to develop analytical reports
  • Other duties as assigned
