- A high school diploma or GED is preferred.
- Previous housekeeping and/or laundry experience in long-term care is preferred but not required.
- Clean furnishings, fixtures, ledges, windows, heating/cooling units, and other assigned items by washing, dusting, or polishing.
- Clean floors by sweeping, vacuuming, dust mopping, or damp/wet mopping.
- Empty trash, clean trash receptacles, and transport trash to the proper area.
- Report burned-out light bulbs, broken or defective equipment, maintenance concerns, pest-control problems, and unsafe or unsanitary conditions to a supervisor.
- Interact positively with residents, family members, guests, and personnel.
- Follow established policies, procedures, and regulations to maintain quality resident care.
- Communicate, coordinate, and cooperate with other team members.
- Maintain resident rights and confidentiality.
- A high school diploma or GED.
