  • Proven experience within a Product Manager role working in the financial services/payments industry, preferably a bank, card network or processor
  • Good experience of working with APIs (SOAP and REST) in a development or product capacity
  • Solid understanding of API approaches, strategy, life-cycles and commercialisation
  • Solid understanding of web-based architecture
  • Proven experience of writing detailed business requirements for financial products
  • Experience and understanding of Agile and Lean product development methodologies
  • Proficient in tools such as JIRA
  • The ability to clearly articulate ideas and requirements and feedback to the relevant business area
  • Proven experience of leading cross-functional teams to make key decisions
Responsibilities
  • Being the single point of contact for your area of the business and be the go-to person and SME for all items relating to our product. This will include new product features and enhancements, aligning with other product teams to launch new initiatives as well as client requirements
  • Developing a clear vision and strategy for your product area and ensuring the vision and strategy is clear, easy to consume, articulated and consistently executed
  • Developing and owning product roadmap that delivers strategic value and positive outcomes for our customers and Thredd
  • Providing regular updates on status and ensuring roadmap is always relevant and up to date
  • Driving delivery from concept through to launch
  • Creating value driving business cases for your area of the business by using data driven approaches, market trends, competitors and price analysis to build compelling cases
  • Ensuring requirements are clear and prioritised including creating stories and working with BA’S and delivery teams to prioritise backlog and keep well maintaining
  • Translating user feedback into actionable product improvements
  • Owning, setting and tracking the OKRs and metrics for your product
  • Creating and managing GTM strategy for any product launches and initiatives. Working with various stakeholders to ensure launches are smooth, controlled and successful
  • Collaborating and working with; engineering, design, operations, marketing and revenue teams
