Requirements
  • BS or MS in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering with a minimum GPA of 3.0
  • 0-5 years of relevant experience in manufacturing
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the initiative to engage with personnel and navigate solutions, even when initial problem statements are unclear
  • Excellent organizational, planning, and communication skills (both written and verbal)
  • Detail-oriented, highly motivated, and capable of managing and prioritizing multiple tasks with limited supervision
  • Ability to multitask, problem-solve, and adapt quickly to changing priorities
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
  • Must currently hold or be able to obtain a Department of Defense Secret-level security clearance
  • Must be a U.S. citizen, as this position is not eligible for Limited Access Authorizations
Responsibilities
  • Execute all engineering tasks related to material and end-item production support
  • Perform engineering calculations to support process design, including mass and energy balances, heat transfer, and pump sizing
  • Evaluate and optimize existing or planned equipment and processes for efficiency, modifications, and maintenance
  • Conduct market research and collaborate with client procurement teams to acquire necessary operational equipment
  • Draft, review, and revise technical documentation such as SOPs, equipment and facility drawings, and P&IDs
  • Carry out engineering, safety, and quality control analyses
  • Collaborate and communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders, including quality testing and manufacturing departments
