Altarea announces major progress in data centers at Choose France Summit

Altarea announces major progress in data centers at Choose France Summit. Paris, November 17, 2025 - Altarea takes part today in the first edition of the Choose France Summit - France Edition, which brings together French companies that have chosen to invest in the national territory and actively contribute to economic dynamism and industrial sovereignty. This event is an opportunity for the Group to reaffirm its ambition in the data center sector in France. Altarea has been active in the data center market for several years and has built a dedicated team covering all data center formats. Today, the Group's first projects are materializing in two main segments: * Colocation data centers, primarily for corporate clients: Following the commissioning of its first project in Noyal-sur-Vilaine (3 MW IT), Altarea has obtained a building permit for a second data center of 7 MW IT in Vélizy (Yvelines). In this segment, the Group is developing a pipeline of sovereign data centers, particularly in the Île-de-France region, representing a potential of more than 100 MW IT in the long term. * Hyperscale data centers, primarily for AI: Altarea is working on the redevelopment of several controlled land plots, including two for which grid connection authorizations (PTF) have been obtained, securing an electrical capacity of 520 MW. For these two projects, advanced discussions are underway with administrative and political authorities, as well as financial and commercial partners. These projects could represent several billion euros of investments to be committed over the coming years. In line with its strategy, Altarea will implement these projects once fully secured and within the framework of financial and commercial partnerships. Alain Taravella, Chairman and Founder of Altarea: "Altarea's mission has always been to meet the essential needs of the French people. Today, digital transformation is a top priority, essential to our country's competitiveness. Our understanding of territorial challenges, our ability to manage complexity and mobilize capital, enable us to develop a comprehensive range of data centers that set the standard for environmental performance." Roland Lescure, Minister of Economy, Finance and Industrial, Energy and Digital Sovereignty in France: "To support the rise of digital technology in our country, we need national operators investing in dedicated infrastructures adapted to territorial needs. I would like to congratulate Altarea for its investments in data centers and its contribution to the development of France's digital infrastructure." Anne Le Hénanff, Minister Delegate for Artificial Intelligence and Digital Affairs: "Digital sovereignty is the guiding principle of my action, and I therefore congratulate Altarea for this announcement, which contributes to it and demonstrates that we have all the assets to make France a major AI power. Data centers are the backbone of digital transformation. The AI Action Summit in Paris last February placed the development of data centers across the country at the heart of our strategy. Today, as we host the first France Edition of Choose France in Paris, these data center projects led by Altarea are a concrete realization of this strategy."
