Endor Labs focuses on cybersecurity by analyzing software to find vulnerabilities that hackers could exploit. Their method involves reachability-based dependency analysis, which examines how software functions and identifies potential risks at a detailed level. This allows them to provide clients with a risk score that evaluates security, quality, popularity, and activity of software packages, significantly reducing alert noise by 80%. Unlike many competitors, Endor Labs offers a flexible policy engine that enables clients to tailor security policies to their specific needs, minimizing disruptions in the software development process. Additionally, they assist businesses in managing Software Bill of Materials (SBOM) and Vulnerability Exploitability Exchange (VEX), which help in understanding the risks and costs of software ownership. The goal of Endor Labs is to enhance the security and quality of software for businesses of all sizes.
