Requirements
  • A bachelor's degree and 3+ years of experience with tools such as Tableau, Amazon Web Services, Python, Structured Query Language, and Salesforce.
  • Strong working knowledge of Tableau, including dashboard design, calculated fields, and visualizations, plus the technical ability to connect to and integrate backend data sources such as Structured Query Language databases, application programming interfaces, and data warehouses for reporting and analytics.
  • Advanced Excel skills, including complex formulas and pivot tables, and strong data visualization capabilities.
  • Experience working with large datasets and translating them into actionable insights.
  • Strong consultative, analytical, planning, and organizational skills.
  • Strong prioritization skills, with the ability to rearrange and organize workflows for emerging requests.
  • Ability to work in undefined situations and create clarity and a path forward.
  • Ability to travel 4–6 times per year to College Board offices or for College Board business.
  • Authorization to work in the United States.
  • Clear and concise written and verbal communication skills.
  • Curiosity about emerging technologies, willingness to experiment with and adopt artificial-intelligence-driven solutions, and comfort learning and applying new digital tools independently and proactively.
Responsibilities
  • Build efficient, scalable reporting tools and systems that reduce manual reporting efforts.
  • Standardize key metrics so leaders share an understanding of performance and success.
  • Design dashboards and reporting that provide real-time clarity into performance across programs, channels, and teams.
  • Use Tableau, Salesforce, Amazon Web Services, vendor platforms, and other necessary tools consistently to enable faster and better decision-making.
  • Translate complex operational datasets into dashboards and visualizations with clear, actionable insights that improve customer experience, efficiency, and team performance.
  • Identify and correct data-quality and structural issues in large operational datasets before analysis begins.
  • Identify root causes of performance gaps and recommend specific corrective actions.
  • Translate data into business-relevant insights and recommendations, fielding requests from across the team and through intake.
  • Proactively identify opportunities to use data to improve performance and influence priorities.
  • Shift reporting from retrospective summaries to forward-looking insights that influence decisions and outcomes.
  • Create and prepare the insight layer for business reviews with senior leadership, highlighting key issues, risks, tradeoffs, decisions, and follow-up actions.
  • Equip leaders through reports and visualizations to understand performance drivers and the actions with the greatest impact.
  • Proactively surface trends and emerging risks before they affect performance.
  • Partner cross-functionally with Technology, Operations, and Program teams to improve data quality and accessibility and identify new data-driven performance opportunities.
Desired Qualifications
  • Relevant Tableau, data analyst, and Salesforce certifications.
  • Experience working in or with call center operations.
