Job Description
We’re looking for a seasoned leader and Director of Product Operations to build and scale product organizational excellence at Procore. Your role - reporting directly to the CPO - is to scale Procore’s customer centricity, effective stakeholder management, product discovery, cross functional alignment, release mgmt and rapid iteration. We are an ambitious culture - looking for a leader who sets the pace, builds programs at scale, consistently reviews and develops new processes, communication avenues, and engagement mechanisms to ensure Procore continues its innovation lead in construction technology.
As Director of Product Operations, you’ll reinforce product strategy and execution with metrics, drive cross-functional alignment, establish business processes and best practices, and manage budget and reporting efforts. You’ll support the unique aspects of Procore while also working to build tools to optimize the way we deliver innovative solutions. Successful candidates are highly analytical self-starters with experience at scale who can work independently and have a strong sense of ownership.
This position will report to the Chief Product Officer and will be based in our Austin, TX office. We’re looking for someone to join our team immediately.
What you’ll do:
Build strong feedback loops with stakeholders and customers to ensure product and other cross functional team expectations are exceeded.
Key contributor to the Procore Lifecycle across all functions at the company. Define the way we deliver innovation across Procore.
Own and contribute to strategy, planning, and review cadences for Product teams while ensuring that each organization is well-aligned to these practices and getting what they need
Scale product knowledge throughout the company, serving as an ambassador for product org, product process, and product strategy/roadmap.
Master the roadmap, be the single source of truth that is all things strategic delivery at Procore. Own the development, updating, and communication framework of the global product roadmap
Own the release process - ensure clarity and simplicity across a complex delivery of hundreds of releases to the world’s biggest construction companies. Ensure programs for Pilots, Betas and GA are consistent and effective.
Optimize product process to ensure that PM best practices and business processes are consistent, well-aligned across the organization, and result in desired outcomes to support goals
Build and maintain programs and strategies across talent, onboarding, and learning and development that keep team members happy, engaged, and growing in their career
Lead budget management alongside FP&A to ensure budgets are planned, executed, and analyzed to achieve maximum ROI
Manage a team of operations experts and release managers.
What we’re looking for:
10+ years running a product operations or business operations role at a scaled technology company.
Clear executive communication skills - the ability to interface with senior execs both within Procore and customers.
5+ years of previous experience in people management.
Deep understanding of Product Management, Design, Engineering, User Research and how these functions come together to deliver innovation.
Experience in a highly quantitative product organization.
Experience in a Product Manager role or consulting background is preferred.
Strong relationship skills with the ability to foster a sense of community with cross-functional stakeholders
Exceptional project management and organizational skills and an ability to meet deadlines
Ability to move seamlessly between conversing with engineers, operations teams, and Senior Executives
