Position Description:

The Alcon team is looking for a talented and motivated intern to join us onsite for 10-12 weeks in Summer 2023 at the Fort Worth, TX location. This intern will develop an industry best practice that allows for local customization of large-scale marketing campaigns for the US Vision Care Contact Lens Team. The deliverable for this role will be a recommendation on what types of marketing resources are best created and distributed for easiest adoption by local eye care professionals. In doing so, this role will partner with our strategic account, field sales, marketing, and operations team to deliver a comprehensive playbook for local market activation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop best practices playbook to implement upon completion.

• Competitive and ROI analysis of existing assets

• Partner with cross-functional marketing and field sales team to identify opportunities.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Must be enrolled in an accredited university or college for at least one semester prior to internship or co-op, and at least one additional semester following internship or co-op.

• Must be pursuing at least a bachelor’s level degree in Marketing.

• Academic performance: Minimum cumulative GPA 2.8/4.0

• Demonstrated leadership skills (i.e. extracurricular activities or projects)

• Must be authorized to work in the US on a permanent basis without requiring sponsorship (students on an F1 visa with CPT can be accommodated)

• Ability to commit to a full time (40 hrs. per week) intern position.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Prior experience in developing marketing campaigns including advertising agency engagement.

• MBA Candidate strongly preferred.

• Proficient with MS Office Suite, specifically PowerPoint and Excel
