Requirements
  • A Bachelor's Degree is required, or equivalent experience.
  • A minimum of 2–5 years of related capital medical sales experience is required.
  • Experience and proven success with consultative selling, including its approach and methodology, is required.
  • Effective presentation skills, professional and executive presence, and the ability to establish credibility with any audience are required.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills are required, including the ability to deliver timely and useful multimode communications to internal and external customers.
  • Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, are required.
  • Must be able to physically cover and maintain regular face-to-face contact with customers across an assigned geographic area.
  • Must reside within the assigned territory.
  • Ability to travel extensively by automobile, train, or airplane, including overnight stays, is required.
  • Ability to occasionally work weekends to support trade show events is required.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and transport medical equipment and supplies for customer in-servicing is required.
Responsibilities
  • Manage all new and existing accounts, identify and close new business opportunities, and deliver comprehensive solutions across the full product portfolio for in-center and home modalities.
  • Own account relationships in the assigned territory and represent the entire product portfolio for assigned modalities.
  • Identify and close new opportunities by developing appropriate solutions and delivering implementation support across all customer types.
  • Manage and nurture account relationships to drive expansion and renewals, secure wallet share, and solve customer needs.
  • Conduct regular face-to-face customer calls.
  • Lead collaboration and coordination with supporting roles to handle customer needs and expectations.
  • Use sales tools daily to manage prospects, existing accounts, opportunities, pipeline, and forecasts accurately and promptly.
  • Manage customer contracts, including pricing adjustments and system updates, accurately and promptly.
  • Identify market trends, threats, and opportunities using sales data and customer feedback, and develop strategic plans to improve performance and market share within the assigned territory.
  • Build customer relationships by delivering value-driven solutions and providing follow-up and service to internal and external customers.
  • Support field activities, including equipment evaluations, in-services, technical demonstrations, and training, to ensure customer success.
  • Monitor and maintain customer market share, enter and close customer appointments, and capture relevant sales campaign data.
  • Develop professional expertise and maintain technical and clinical proficiency across assigned modalities.
  • Attend local, regional, and national events, meetings, and training sessions to enhance product knowledge and market understanding.
  • Review and comply with the Code of Business Conduct, company compliance policies and procedures, and applicable laws and regulations.
  • Complete projects and administrative duties assigned by the direct supervisor, including accurate and timely expense reports and operating within the operating expense budget.
