  • Must have obtained an Associate’s degree in an engineering discipline and/or have equivalent experience.
  • Equivalent Experience: 6+ years of electrical design or wiring and electrical installation experience.
  • Capability with 2D/3D AutoCAD design.
  • Working experience in lighting, grounding, duct bank, cable tray, power & control designs, wiring diagrams and schematics.
  • Familiarity with electrical national and local codes, permits, and software applications.
  • Good oral and written communication skills.
  • Organizational skills and ability to perform detail-oriented work.
  • Due to the nature of work, candidate must be a US Citizen. Must not have Dual Citizenship.
  • Position may require the ability to pass and maintain a Security Clearance.
  • Position may require travel.
Responsibilities
  • The Designer is responsible for initiating and developing engineering drawings through completion for assigned projects in conformance with the requirements, applicable codes, and design criteria established by the project's discipline engineers.
