Requirements
  • The candidate must currently hold the FINRA Securities Industry Essentials (SIE) credential.

Responsibilities
  • Learn to provide tailored and personalized advice to clients through reviews and presentations, including partnering with management to assess financial goals and recommend investment advisory strategies.
  • Understand client solutions suited to financial needs, including core banking, investment, and Life Priority solutions.
  • Shadow Financial Advisor teams to build a network by sharing relevant market developments and discussing new products as appropriate to promote portfolio growth.
  • Leverage available resources and technologies to optimize the customer experience and serve bank customers with operational excellence and accuracy.
  • Participate in ongoing training focused on developing a book of business, meeting and exceeding predefined financial targets, and progressing to the next phase as an advisor.
  • Build relationships with internal service providers based on client needs and asset thresholds.
  • Proactively manage risk in every aspect of business, product, and service transactions by leveraging available tools.
  • Identify client needs, develop relationships, review investment goals, and prepare investment recommendations aligned with clients' goals.
  • Leverage technology to achieve business growth goals, profile clients to determine investor profiles and financial resource objectives, build a sustainable book of business, and provide opportunities for advisors to pursue a career within the bank.
Desired Qualifications
  • Experience working in the financial services industry and/or a sales environment where goals were met or exceeded.
  • Strong computer skills and the ability to multitask in a demanding environment.
  • A bachelor's degree, preferably in a business-related field.
  • Proven ability to partner and promote lead generation.
  • Experience balancing investment management, sales activities, and new client development.
  • Additional professional designations such as Certified Financial Planner (CFP) and/or Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor (CRPC).
  • Insurance licenses.

Bank of America cut its Apple price target to $370 from $380 whilst maintaining a Buy rating, following the iPhone Duo launch under new CEO John Ternus. Analyst Wamsi Mohan cited lower-than-expected iPhone pricing pressuring gross margins amid elevated component costs. The iPhone Duo, Apple's first foldable phone, features a 7.6-inch inner display and 5.4-inch outer display, both supporting Dynamic Island and 120Hz ProMotion. Starting at $1,999, it launches 23 October with pre-orders opening 16 October. Mohan called the foldable the event's standout, noting its potential to reach mainstream audiences through features like dual capture in FaceTime. Citi described it as Apple's biggest new hardware category since the Watch and AirPods.

Dell raises $5B in bond sale as AI server demand drives stock up over 400%

Dell is raising $5 billion through an investment-grade bond sale, attracting approximately $23 billion in investor orders at peak demand — nearly five times the offering size. The company, initially targeting $4 billion, is issuing bonds across four tranches with maturities from three to 10 years. Proceeds will repay notes maturing this year, including $2.3 billion due in October, and fund general corporate purposes. The sale reflects strong investor confidence in Dell's AI server business, which has driven the company's stock to quadruple this year. Dell recently increased its fiscal-year sales forecast by $25 billion, securing contracts for machines featuring Nvidia AI chips and traditional servers.
