- Satisfactory completion of an accredited education program in Sonography or equivalent.
- Current certification by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) or eligible.
- Required ARDMS certification in Abdomen and OB-Gyn. If not certified upon hire, must obtain certifications within one (1) year of hire.
- Current CPR for Healthcare Providers
- Provides health care services by applying sonic energy to assist in diagnosis.
- Performs Sonography procedures, computer processing and related techniques, producing images for the interpretation by a Radiologist or a licensed independent practitioner.
- Exercises professional judgment in performance of service and maintains a demeanor complimentary to medical ethics.
- Recognizes various patient conditions in order to provide appropriate patient care to ensure successful completion of the exam or procedure.

Sellersburg, Indiana — According to state and local development sources, Baptist Health plans to invest $40,000,000.00 to build out new space in Sellersburg. The company plans to occupy the new space in Sellersburg, on or about October 1, 2026. According to the company website Founded in 1924 in Louisville, Kentucky, Baptist Health is a full-spectrum health system dedicated to improving the health of the communities it serves. The Baptist Health family consists of 10 hospitals, employed and independent physicians, and more than 470 points of care, including outpatient facilities, physician practices and services, urgent care clinics, outpatient diagnostic and surgery centers, home care, fitness centers, and occupational medicine and physical therapy clinics. Baptist Healths eight owned hospitals include more than 2,300 licensed beds in Corbin, Elizabethtown, La Grange, Lexington, Louisville, Paducah, Richmond and New Albany, Indiana. Baptist Health also operates two joint venture hospitals: the 410-bed Baptist Health Deaconess Madisonville in Madisonville, Kentucky with Deaconess Health System based in Evansville, Indiana and the Baptist Health Rehabilitation Hospital, a 40-bed inpatient rehabilitation facility with Encompass Health, based in Birmingham, Alabama
