Chelsea Building Products partners with Hover to assist with planning, visualizing, estimating siding projects.

Chelsea Building Products partners with Hover to assist with planning, visualizing, estimating siding projects. Chelsea Building Products, manufacturer of Everlast advanced composite siding, has partnered with Hover, giving contractors and homeowners a quicker way to plan, visualize, and estimate exterior siding projects using Everlast siding. Hover, purpose-built for the needs of contractors, allows them to generate accurate renderings, produce material takeoffs and Bills of Materials (BOM), select products, and build estimates all in one platform. "Contractors can now streamline the selling and exterior construction process from the first meeting to final installation, all while giving homeowners a clear, confident vision of their home clad with Everlast siding," said Daniel Franklin, senior product manager at Chelsea Building Products. "This collaboration results in faster decisions, easier selling, more accurate estimates, less waste, and meaningful time and cost savings." Hover Design helps remove guesswork from exterior remodeling by enabling users to quickly generate photorealistic home designs from a single photo. In 3D mode, contractors can create fully interactive exterior renderings with 360-degree rotation and virtual walkthrough capabilities. By turning simple smartphone photos into measurable, build-ready models, the platform helps contractors move from concept to accurate material takeoffs and ordering much faster. "Homeowners nationwide are bringing their dream homes to life with Everlast siding," said Gary Hartman, vice president of sales and marketing at Chelsea Building Products. "With Hover Design, that process becomes even more intuitive. It is the ideal platform to explore ideas, compare styles, and build a clear vision for the home while easily cycling through the full range of Everlast siding colors, profiles, and accessories." Contractors can utilize Everlast siding Pro Resources for brochures, detailed installation guides, instructional videos, CAD and specification documents, and a wealth of additional resources designed to support contractors from first bid to final install. Visualization and digital estimating have become essential in construction, and Chelsea Building Products is committed to equipping its contractor network with the tools that will define the next generation of exterior remodeling.

Ai Revolutionizes Home Design With Instant, Innovative Solutions

A new artificial intelligence program that can design a house in seconds shows how technology is transforming the way we envision and create our living spaces. Icon, known for its 3D-printed housing, is venturing further into automation with the launch of Vitruvius, an AI system designed to empower consumers in the home design process. Currently, in open beta, the program promises to streamline the creation of customized floor plans for interior and exterior renders, eventually progressing to complete construction blueprints and schedules. “In the future, I believe nearly all construction will be done by robots, and nearly all construction-related information will be processed and managed by AI systems,” Icon CEO Jason Ballard said in a news release. “Vitruvius will become the default method for Icon in designing custom homes. We intend to be selling and building Vitruvius-designed homes beginning this year.”
