  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, AI, or a related field.
  • 10+ years of experience in data governance, AI governance, or related fields.
  • Extensive experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP), AI, Agentic AI, Large Language Models (LLMs), and AI chatbots.
  • Strong understanding of data governance frameworks and tools.
  • Proven experience in developing and implementing data and AI governance policies.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Proven leadership skills and experience in guiding governance projects from conception to deployment.
  • Experience managing data and AI governance in a multi-company ecosystem.
Responsibilities
  • Work with various legal, technical, and business teams to communicate risk findings and drive informed decision-making.
  • Conduct comprehensive risk assessments of divisional data management and AI projects while recommending mitigation strategies.
  • Develop and maintain AI governance guidance, ensuring alignment across the organization considering industry standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Promote transparency, fairness, and accountability in AI practices.
  • Collaborate with information security teams to advise data management practices and address AI-specific security risks.
  • Adhere to data and AI policies and standards, offering guidance as needed.
  • Help develop enterprise training to raise awareness of data management and AI risks and best practices.

Hitachi Digital Services launches Manufacturing Operations Management platform to accelerate smart factory transformation

Hitachi Digital Services has launched a Manufacturing Operations Management platform to strengthen integration between operational and information technology systems. The platform aims to transform discrete manufacturing sites into smart factories and expand Hitachi's HMAX Industry solutions portfolio. Built on open, modular architecture, the MOM platform delivers real-time traceability from design through manufacturing, enables data-driven decision-making, and supports scalable workflows. The technology has been refined across over 100 manufacturing sites and will initially power Hitachi Group factories through a "Customer Zero" approach. The platform targets asset-heavy sectors including energy, high tech, manufacturing and transportation.
