The RFP Lead will hold full responsibility for sourcing and completing requests for proposals, as well as other types of information requests from potential clients and business partners, for our organization. The person in this role will have high visibility with senior leadership and will work together with team leads from across the company to accurately and persuasively represent our product and capabilities to successfully gain new business.

Responsibilities Include:

• Manage teams workload and task assignments to support coordination and completion (drafting) of Centivo’s proposals and responses to Requests for Proposals (RFPs) and Requests for Information (RFIs).
• Develop a deep understanding of our services and capabilities and be able to translate how they apply to each client specific solution.
• Work cross-functionally with leaders from Sales, Operations, Product, Network and Marketing to ensure the most accurate information on capabilities is presented.
• Write compelling and persuasive executive summaries and responses to all Q&A.
• Develop, and continually enhance, a scalable process flow to support and respond to rapid business growth
• Lead the end to end project management for RFPs including all written responses and analytics requested as part of the proposal
• Build out and maintain Qvidian RFP tool to craft, and maintain an up-to-date RFP database to help with future RFP responses.
• Maintain an FAQ document with responses to the most commonly asked mid-market questions 
• Expand upon and maintain common RFP resources, such as standard attachments and sample materials.
• Assist in preparing for finalist meetings that result from RFP submissions.
• Track all due dates and deliverables for RFPs to ensure all work is accounted for, monitored for completion and no deadlines are missed.
• Own all aspects of an RFP submission, including uploading all questionnaires and exhibits,
• coordination of printing and shipping of physical submissions where required.

• Ability to work effectively in a fast paced, transaction-oriented environment; flexibility to handle multiple priorities while maintaining a high level of professionalism and responsiveness
• Effective team and time management, prioritization and creative problem-solving experience
• Strong attention to detail and project management skills
• Healthcare/benefits experience to understand and convey complex elements of the Centivo product and various/flexible network solutions through RFP submissions, effectively positioning our capabilities and interest in supporting each client’s unique needs
• Analytical skills and comfort with packaging / reviewing network and financial analyses that will be included in RFP submissions
• Exceptional writing and communication skills a must (to be demonstrated in part through your cover letter)
• Must demonstrate a responsive, service oriented professional approach in all interactions
• Comfort with ambiguity and working without well-established policies and practices
• Command of Microsoft Office suite of products including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree
• 8+ years of experience in RFP management or relevant experience, health plan/health insurance experience preferred
• 3+ years of experience leading an RFP/Proposal team
• APMP certification preferred
