Service Attendant

Performs a combination of duties which may include janitorial, housekeeping, general labor, facility, laundry and food services. Works within a well-defined framework of policies and procedures, under immediate supervision.Education, Experience and Training:
Completion of eighth (8th) grade from an accredited school or additional equivalent work experience.

Special Requirements/Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Ability to follow written and verbal instructions. Must be able to operate vehicles, buffers, vacuums, lifts or other equipment to complete assigned tasks. Must pass criminal background check. (Juvenile: Mandatory drug testing prior to employment, and will be subject to random, unannounced drug and/or alcohol testing during employment).

Physical/Environmental Requirements:
Requires prolonged walking, standing, bending, kneeling, pushing and ability to lift and carry up to 45 lbs., unassisted. 1. Performs janitorial duties such as cleaning, sweeping, mopping, dusting, stripping and waxing floors and common areas using various equipment to complete assigned tasks.

2. Performs general manual labor duties such as moving furniture, file cabinets, equipment and supplies.

3. Assists with laundry duties, including washing, folding, sorting, and storing.

4. Receives and maintains inventory of food items, clothing, bedding and other supplies.

5. Monitors and inspects facility and equipment and identifies remedies and/or reports to management any related health, safety and security concerns.

6. Performs other duties as assigned.

Maximum Salary: 17.30
