  • Extensive experience designing and configuring SAP ERP Finance and Controlling solutions, ideally with S4HANA
  • Participation in 2+ SAP implementations in the Record to Report from Blueprint to Go-Live
  • 10+ years of experience in SAP systems
  • B.S. with Finance major or CPA
  • Ability to be detailed in a fast-paced environment
Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage all aspects of RTR projects from discovery to deployment and support
  • Analyze complex business problems / processes and translate business requirements into workable application solutions
  • Partner with and provide guidance to business teams, and act as the translator between Finance and IT teams to ensure business requirements are communicated properly
  • Conduct root cause analysis, recommend process improvements, redesign and automation
  • Collaborate with cross functional teams to facilitate project progress and ensure integrated solution design and implementation
  • Provide operational support to the finance teams
  • Facilitate the financial close (monthly and quarterly) and consolidation activities ensuring they are completed timely and in accordance with corporate timeline, guidelines and policies
  • Support financial controller in GAAP & local statutory reporting fillings
  • Define and execute compliance requirements related to SOX Audits & other internal / external audit requirements
  • Conduct financial controls testing and document results
  • Support the external reporting and regulatory processes such as Tax Reporting
  • Manage bank & other finance related external system interfaces
  • Develop project related documentation for GAP analysis, functional design documents, functional specifications for development activities including reports, interfaces, conversions, enhancements, and forms
  • Develop and execute functional end to end test scripts and perform unit testing, integration and regression testing, including build test cases, executing tests, and making changes to configuration and or processes as needed
  • Train the end user community in the conversion and implementation of new processes
  • Collaborate with Application Managed Services provider support team to quickly resolve critical operational issues that impact business functions
