The Role:

A UX Designer at Productiv is tasked with a strategic job - to understand the users and their industries enough to create an elegant and usable solution.  A solution that not only works for one, but all our customers. As a UX Designer, you will be responsible for leading the design process for new and existing products. You will work closely with other designers, product managers, engineers and customers to create intuitive, user-centered designs that meet business and user needs. You will be responsible for creating high-fidelity mockups, user flows, and interactive prototypes to validate design concepts. You will also be responsible for leading and mentoring junior designers on the team. 

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $133,331 - $177,775. Our base salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities:

• Lead the design process for new and existing products
• Collaborate with product managers and engineers to understand user needs and business requirements
• Create intuitive, user-centered designs that meet business and user needs
• Create high-fidelity mockups, user flows, and interactive prototypes to validate design concepts
• Lead and mentor junior designers on the team
• Stay up-to-date with design trends and best practices
• Communicate design decisions and rationale to stakeholders
• Participate in user research and testing

Requirements:

• 4+ years of experience as a product designer
• Strong portfolio of work demonstrating user-centered design process and solutions
• Experience leading and mentoring junior designers
• Strong understanding of design principles, user-centered design, and design thinking
• Experience with design tools such as Sketch, Figma, and Adobe Creative Suite
• Strong communication and presentation skills
• Experience with user research and testing
• Bachelor’s degree in design or related field
• Experience with building user-facing enterprise products, building products for IT, and working at growth-stage startups are a plus
