Senior Manager, Revenue Accounting

We are seeking a Senior Manager, Revenue Accounting to own and manage all aspects of the revenue accounting cycle: order, ship, AR, revenue, etc. You will be integral in laying the groundwork for all processes, systems, and controls as we build out our global finance infrastructure. You must be a self-starter and able to reach out and work cross functionally with business partners. Clear analytical thinking and communication is required.

Responsibilities will include:

• Drive company systems (Oracle) and processes for Revenue Cycle Accounting.
• Understand our business and influence design and architecture of processes and controls.
• Partner closely with sales teams, biz dev and deal desk to ensure efficient and effective operations.
• Analyze all revenue related transactions, contracts and deals, conclude and document appropriate GAAP accounting treatment.
• Work closely with legal, sales and biz dev to structure contracts for non-standard and complex deals.
• Document processes, business owners, systems and key controls (SOX).
• Manage Accounts Receivable and Allowance for bad debts.
• Work with key business partners to establish and report on key metrics and dashboards.
• Prepare account reconciliations and analysis to support financial statement close.

Desired Qualifications:

• 3+ years of public accounting and/or public company experience.
• Strong foundation in US GAAP accounting principles.
• You must be a self-starter and able to insert yourself in meetings and forge relationships with key business partners.
• You must be comfortable working in ambiguity and prioritizing.
• You need to be comfortable rolling up your sleeves and digging into the details.
• You should be deeply curious and analytical.
• Ability to clearly articulate your thoughts verbally and in writing.
• Oracle experience is great, but not required.
