Requirements
  • Bachelor’s Degree or Master’s Degree in Electrical Engineer or equivalent.
  • 3+ years of industry experience as an Electrical Engineer.
  • Knowledge of scripting language to develop automation.
  • Understanding of Product Release Cycle from prototype to production and key deliverables of each phase.
  • Experience with circuit testing, debugging, navigating a schematic + layout, using basic lab tools/equipment, and documenting findings in a clear way.
  • Experience with hands-on electrical engineering work across communication standards (CAN-BUS, LVDS, RS-232).
  • Familiarity with environmental testing such as MIL-STD-810 and MIL-STD-46.
  • Familiarity with electronics test equipment such as power supplies, electronic loads, oscilloscopes, function generators, data acquisition and measurement sensors.
  • Ability to travel to and work at remote sites supporting test integration, commissioning and training as required.
Responsibilities
  • Create, document and maintain electrical system test strategy, and test plans for various ASV products.
  • Integration and functionality testing of electrical subsystems.
  • Analyze and drive coverage and analysis of failures observed in integration and system level testing.
  • Data analysis and clear communication of results and collaboration with design engineers to resolve any product problems found via test.
  • Design and implement next generation test automation hardware systems to facilitate fast and repeatable testing of product.
  • Manage purchasing, build, integration and final commissioning of functional testers.
  • Develop test procedures and test automation from component level to system level.
  • Support Design Engineer with DFT, provide feedback from test results to improve quality and test coverage.
  • Support quality field failure analysis.
  • Act as a liaison to conduct test lake and ocean testing and support mission operations team during tests.
  • Collaborate with a cross-functional team to support product development from prototype to production.
