Requirements
  • PhD in stem cell and regenerative biology or cell and molecular biology or a closely related field and/or an equivalent graduate degree plus at least five years of work experience in biotechnology, biopharma, pharmaceuticals or related industry.
  • Proven platform skills required, as is an open, supportive personal style willing to receive assistance and coaching when needed from the director.
Responsibilities
  • Deliver lectures on cell and gene therapy concepts, techniques, and applications.
  • Design and implement laboratory exercises that provide hands-on experience with cell and gene therapy methodologies.
  • Develop and update course materials, including syllabi, assignments, and assessments.
  • Supervise and guide students during lab sessions, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and experimental procedures.
  • Provide individual support and feedback to students on their lab work and research projects.
  • Contribute to the development and improvement of the curriculum and lab exercises.
  • Stay current with advancements in cell and gene therapy to ensure the course content is relevant and up-to-date.
  • Assess student performance through exams, practical assessments, and lab reports.
  • Provide timely and constructive feedback to students on their progress and academic performance.
  • Collaborate with other faculty members to ensure alignment with program goals and standards.
  • Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to program development and improvement.
