Withum’s team is seeking a Senior to join our Orlando, Boca Raton, Whippany, Red Bank, East Brunswick, Saddle Brook or Princeton offices. The group provides assurance to privately held small-to-medium sized companies who desire one point of contact for their business needs.  This is an exciting opportunity which affords the candidate the ability to work directly with business owners and their immediate families to provide consultative planning advice while being part of a growing firm. This position will afford the candidate a permanent hybrid work schedule.

How You’ll Spend Your Time:  

• Inspiring, developing, mentoring, and retaining staff while providing challenging assignments
• Reviewing the preparing of compilation and review level financial statements
• Collaborating cross-functionally with our tax, assurance and accounting, and advisory groups to identify opportunities to fully service the client and their families
• Remaining current on technical and industry developments and standards, while evaluating the potential impact on clients’ business and financial position
• Participating in client proposals and identifying new business development opportunities.
• Leading the engagement team staff on the planning and execution of an audit, review or compilation engagement to effectively and efficiently provide world-class client service to clients
• Overseeing the day-to-day operations of the audit engagement from staffing, planning, risk assessment, fieldwork, financial reporting and the conclusion 

 The Kinds of People We Want to Talk to Have Many of The Following: 

• Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting or a business-related field of study
• CPA designation or plans to sit for the CPA exam
• Minimum of 2+ years of experience in a CPA firm doing performing external audits
• Excellent analytical, organizational, project management, and technical skills
• Exceptional client service and communication skills with a demonstrated ability to develop and maintain outstanding client relationships
• Ability to manage multiple engagements and competing projects in a rapidly growing, fast-paced, interactive, results-based team environment
• Strong leadership, training, and mentoring skills, coupled with excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills to represent the Firm well to client’s management
