Requirements
  • An active Certified Public Accountant license is required.
  • A bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required.
  • At least 10 years of progressive accounting and finance experience is required.
  • Experience leading accounting operations within a multi-entity or multi-division organization is required.
  • Experience with enterprise resource planning systems and Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint, is required.
  • Strong knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles, financial reporting, and internal controls is required.
  • Strong working knowledge of general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, banking, and tax functions is required.
  • Knowledge of financial management principles, budgeting, forecasting, and cash management is required.
  • The role requires strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities, along with accuracy and attention to detail.
  • The role requires the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment and work effectively with employees at all organizational levels.
  • The role requires the ability to sit, stand, and work at a computer for extended periods, walk occasionally through operational or warehouse environments, and occasionally lift up to 25 pounds.
Responsibilities
  • Plan, direct, and coordinate all accounting and finance functions across the organization.
  • Hire, train, develop, and mentor accounting and finance team members.
  • Partner with executive leadership to support financial decision-making and business planning.
  • Evaluate, implement, and optimize accounting systems, enterprise resource planning platforms, and internal controls.
  • Perform internal audits, financial reviews, and risk assessments.
  • Manage cash flow, treasury functions, investments, and forecasting activities.
  • Oversee tax compliance, financial controls testing, and audit preparation.
  • Manage consolidated accounting and financial reporting, including month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes.
  • Oversee payroll, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and banking relationships.
  • Prepare financial analyses, forecasts, budgets, and executive reporting packages.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives and operational efficiency projects.
  • Complete special projects, ad hoc reporting, and other duties assigned by management.

  • Experience leading accounting transformation, process improvement, or enterprise resource planning implementation projects.
  • Experience supporting executive leadership with strategic financial planning and analysis.
