Requirements
  • Overall 8+ years of experience, including Product or Service Offering Management experience in the software product or IT services industry.
  • Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in Business, Marketing, Computer Science, or related discipline.
  • Equivalent combination of education, training, and relevant experience may be considered in place of the requirements above.
  • Financial Services and Government industry experience
  • Proven ability to build relationships effectively with leaders across the organization, at the Director level and above.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of Hyperscale Cloud (Azure, AWS, GCP) platform, architecture and commercial principles such as core hyperscaler compute, storage, and network services, integrations, security, performance, and monitoring services.
  • Prior experience with driving product/offering strategy, building business cases, revenue models, market enablement launch for new software products and service offerings.
  • Strong analysis, negotiation, collaboration, facilitation, and presentation skills, including the ability to speak at an appropriate technical and business level for the audience.
  • Experience in one or more of the following: Managed Services, SaaS, or XaaS models.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain a strategic roadmap for RF&C MCS service offerings and capabilities, aligning with SAS and MCS business goals and market demands.
  • Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and threats in the managed cloud services, cloud platforms, data and AI.
  • Collaborate with SAS RF&C Product Strategy Team and Product Development Lifecycle (PDLC) Process, Sales, Marketing, Sectors, Markets, MCS Field SMEs, Finance, Legal, Security and Compliance to define and prioritize RF&C requirements for expanded and new MCS offerings, services and capabilities to meet market demand.
  • Oversee the launch of new RF&C Managed Cloud Services offers and services leveraging the MCS Service Development Lifecycle (SDLC) process.
  • Develop, monitor, analyze and report on business case and market performance results (signings, revenue, profit, etc.) for new and expanded RF&C offering services and capabilities using a data and KPI driven approach to provide objective RF&C offering performance evaluation and continuous improvement actions.
  • Ensure the RF&C offering complies with relevant regional, global and sector regulations, standards, and best practices.
  • Engage with SAS RF&C MCS customers, market leaders and MCS regional teams to gather feedback, understand their needs, and ensure the offerings meet their expectations.
  • Evangelize SAS Managed Cloud Services benefits and opportunities by attending leadership team meetings, speaking at town halls and other events inside and outside CIS to build understanding and excitement about SAS Managed Cloud Services.
  • Ensure all applicable security policies and processes are followed to support the organization’s secure software development goals.

SAS will unveil new health care and life sciences AI capabilities at SAS Innovate 2026, running 27–30 April at the Gaylord Texan in Grapevine, Texas.
