Requirements
- BS/BA in Management, Human Resources, Organizational Psychology or equivalent
- 10+ years of progressive HR experience
- Strong knowledge of employment law (Federal and California)
- Direct people management experience
- Excellent communication, coaching, mentoring skills, and experience
Responsibilities
- Lead US HR and people policies including development and implementation.
- Nurture the professional development of the HR Team by aligning business needs with growth opportunities.
- Oversee the employee performance evaluation process in collaboration with stakeholders.
- Oversee Talent Acquisition business initiative development and Retention policies with the HR Management team.
- Oversee compliance and training for US HR including FEHA compliant recruiting, record keeping, Title VII, harassment prevention programs, etc.
- Oversee total compensation and market strategy across multiple divisions.
- Oversee accurate processing of recurring payrolls, as well as special payrolls.
- Responsible for the preparation of advanced metrics and reports to inform HR business practices, ROI, and risk assessments.
- Oversee departmental compliance with all relevant federal, state, and local employment/labor laws and regulations.
- Ensure timely completion of insurance broker audits and binder renewals for Worker’s Compensation, General Liability, Product Liability, and Property/Auto policies.
- Cultivate and develop an organizational culture that makes the QCells Technology Group in the U.S.
- Hands-on contributor while leading US HR.
- Manage compensation and benefits programs to ensure competitiveness and compliance with legal requirements.
- Maintain knowledge of employment legislation and ensure compliance across all division HR programs.
- Interface with all levels of the organization to coordinate and oversee all HR-related activities.
- Establish strong competitive practices, and benchmark HR practices in our market and industry. Maintain knowledge of industry trends and be a leader in best and creative practices.
- Identify and forecast potential problems. Evaluate realistic options and recommend/implement appropriate courses of action.
- Lead the development and implementation of people policies in the U.S.
