Responsibilities

Lead US HR and people policies including development and implementation.
Nurture the professional development of the HR Team by aligning business needs with growth opportunities.
Oversee the employee performance evaluation process in collaboration with stakeholders.
Oversee Talent Acquisition business initiative development and Retention policies with the HR Management team.
Oversee compliance and training for US HR including FEHA compliant recruiting, record keeping, Title VII, harassment prevention programs, etc.
Oversee total compensation and market strategy across multiple divisions.
Oversee accurate processing of recurring payrolls, as well as special payrolls.
Responsible for the preparation of advanced metrics and reports to inform HR business practices, ROI, and risk assessments.
Oversee departmental compliance with all relevant federal, state, and local employment/labor laws and regulations.
Ensure timely completion of insurance broker audits and binder renewals for Worker’s Compensation, General Liability, Product Liability, and Property/Auto policies.
Cultivate and develop an organizational culture that makes the QCells Technology Group in the U.S.
Hands-on contributor while leading US HR.
Manage compensation and benefits programs to ensure competitiveness and compliance with legal requirements.
Maintain knowledge of employment legislation and ensure compliance across all division HR programs.
Interface with all levels of the organization to coordinate and oversee all HR-related activities.
Establish strong competitive practices, and benchmark HR practices in our market and industry. Maintain knowledge of industry trends and be a leader in best and creative practices.
Identify and forecast potential problems. Evaluate realistic options and recommend/implement appropriate courses of action.
Lead the development and implementation of people policies in the U.S.

SUMMARY

The US HR Director will be responsible for leading US Human Resources of Hanwha Qcells Technology Group HR team. This position is based in San Francisco, California office (Hybrid). This position may also require occasional travel up to 20% of working hours.

RESPONSIBILITIES

·Lead US HR and people policies including development and implementation.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

·BS/BA in Management, Human Resources, Organizational Psychology or equivalent

·10+ years of progressive HR experience

·Broad HR leadership experience in key areas such as employee relations, compensation, learning and development, etc.

·Servant leadership that respects employees, empowers subordinates and willingly dedicates to the team

·Excellent communication, coaching, mentoring skills, and experience

·Strong knowledge of employment law (Federal and California)

·Successful implementation of operational and strategic HR programs and processes in a team leadership role

·Direct people management experience

·Effective oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills (examples may be requested)
