Engineer Project Manager Intern

This role has been designed as ‘’Onsite’ with an expectation that you will primarily work from an HPE office.

Job Description:

Join the High-Performance Compute Engineering Operations team in Chippewa Falls WI, responsible for delivering on the Fastest Super Computers in the world.  Looking for an individual with Engineering and/or Computer Science experience that understands Computer Technology and can support the team in delivering on cutting edge technology in our Manufacturing/Engineering facility.

Responsibilities:

• Helping to manage program schedules that show all applicable stakeholders, risks, issues, and dependencies while maintaining a clear and well-defined path to completion.
• Scheduling meetings to ensure all stakeholders and teams are aligned in their support of the program.
• Communicating with stakeholders proactively and effectively – verbally and in writing, while working to create simple messaging for complex topics. 
• Working with cross-functional teams, working with peers to establish and strengthen relationships that foster communication and a sense of teamwork. 
• Documenting program results and where applicable drive lessons learned.
• Supporting change management and being an advocate for process improvement initiatives and ideas.

Education and Experience Required:

• High School Degree 3rd Year of University completed-- Bachelor’s degree in progress in Project Management, Computer Science, MIS, Business Administration, Data Analytics
• Desire to build a career in program management and beyond.

Knowledge and Skills:

• Project/Program management knowledge, including program/project structuring and managing schedules.
• Good analytical thinking, analysis, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to communicate ideas clearly and support in the management of complex program objectives.
• Good verbal and written communication skills, including negotiation, presentation, and influence.
• Ability to draft and present deliverables, recommendations, and communication strategies, status reports.
• Some experience in the use of program and product management tools such as Smartsheet’s, Excel, Jira, and other programs.
• Strong relationship management skills, including partnering and facilitating.
• Willingness to challenge the status quo.

Actual offer may vary from this range based upon geographic location, work experience, education/training, and/or skill level. If this is a sales role, then the listed salary range reflects combined base salary and target-level sales compensation pay. If this is a non-sales role, then the listed salary range reflects base salary only. Variable incentives may also be offered. USD Hourly: $27.50 - $33.25
