  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
  • 10+ years of experience in application development, management, and leadership roles.

Responsibilities
  • Define and execute the long-term application development strategy, ensuring alignment with business goals and industry best practices.
  • Develop and maintain a robust application roadmap, prioritizing projects based on business value and impact.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership and service lines to understand organizational needs and translate them into actionable technology solutions.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices to guide decision-making and innovation.
  • Oversee the design, development, and implementation of custom and off-the-shelf applications to meet business requirements.
  • Ensure the performance, scalability, security, and reliability of all enterprise applications.
  • Lead the integration of applications across platforms and ensure seamless interoperability.
  • Ensure the timely and successful delivery of high-quality applications that meet business needs and exceed customer expectations.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing applications team, including developers, engineers and analysts.
  • Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement within the team.
  • Set clear performance goals and provide regular feedback and development opportunities.
  • Develop and enforce policies, standards, and procedures for application development, deployment, and maintenance.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, data privacy, and security standards.
  • Manage budgets, contracts, and vendor relationships related to application development and support.
  • Regularly evaluate application performance and user feedback to identify areas for improvement.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders across the organization, including business leaders, product managers, and IT operations teams.
  • Communicate progress, challenges, and success metrics to executive stakeholders.
  • Drive change management efforts and support user adoption for new or updated applications.
  • Establish and maintain robust application performance monitoring and incident management processes.
  • Ensure the security, availability, and reliability of all applications.
  • Lead efforts to streamline processes, reduce costs, and maximize return on investment (ROI) in technology solutions.
  • Implement strategies to modernize legacy systems and leverage emerging technologies.
