Business Analytics & Data Implementation Intern - Summer 2023
Job Description:
This Business Analytics and Data Implementation Intern will be responsible for working on key business projects that will support process improvements within the Digital Enrollment area. This project-based internship will focus on the role of data analytics within the standardization, documentation, and implementation of new key business projects. Examples of these key business projects include increasing First Pass Rates, Small Group Digital Adoption, and Electronic Enrollment Standardization.
This is a hybrid work opportunity based out of our Atlanta, GA office. This internship will run for 10 weeks (June 5th-August 11th) on a full-time, or 40 hours per week schedule.
How you will make an impact:
Increase Electronic Enrollment Standardization across Small Group and Large Group business
Design and implement a process to minimize the Performance Guarantee payouts
Design and implement a customer satisfaction survey process
Minimum Requirements:
Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s degree program at an accredited college/university.
Pursuing a degree in Business Analytics, Business Information Systems, Computer Science, Data Analytics, Healthcare Administration, Healthcare Analytics, or related field
GPA of 3.5 or higher. Rising Juniors and Seniors are preferred
Preferred Skills, Capabilities and Experiences:
Previous experience in, and ability to, document business processes, preferably within a Healthcare setting
Possession of a natural curiosity to learn and understand new business processes within a healthcare setting
Ability to thrive in a large team environment and ask questions to update the status quo
Expertise with Microsoft Office Products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
Excellent Communication skills, both written and oral.
Excellent Problem-solving, Analytical, and Organizational skills
Excellent Public Speaking and Presentation skills
