Requirements
  • A Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in any field.
  • Seven years of experience in the position offered or a related position.
  • Seven years of experience performing project and account management with a client-centric focus globally for large risk management accounts and communicating effectively with clients.
  • Seven years of experience managing and advising on global insurance programs and renewals, with emphasis on North American, European, and Bermudian markets.
  • Seven years of experience using analytics to design insurance programs and service accounts in the real estate, media, retail, and healthcare domains, aligned with client risk-management needs, and designing risk-financing strategies aligned with capital-management strategy.
  • Seven years of experience analyzing insurance carrier quotations and making recommendations for property, casualty, and financial-lines insurance.
  • Seven years of experience assessing the potential repercussions of tax, legislative, and regulatory issues affecting global insurance programs and advising internal and external clients on compliance requirements.
  • Seven years of experience performing claims advocacy support, including professional liability claim disputes, to drive desirable outcomes.
  • Seven years of experience reviewing and assessing critical insurance requirements contained in leases and complex contracts.
  • Willingness to travel domestically and internationally to various company and client sites, up to 25% of the time.
Responsibilities
  • Originate and coordinate insurance placements across multiple jurisdictions, including London and Bermuda, for large or complex risks that cannot be accommodated in the U.S. market.
  • Develop and oversee engagement plans and insurance-placement timelines, tracking progress to deliver insurance products and solutions on schedule.
  • Lead client and account-management activities for managed accounts and growth areas using knowledge of market needs, trends, and the firm's products and services.
  • Monitor account issues and industry developments, and create targeted growth strategies for specific accounts, industries, or specialties.
  • Propose tailored insurance solutions to emerging buyer hubs and broaden clients' insurance portfolios.
  • Manage and expand a portfolio of complex, priority accounts across diverse sectors.
  • Provide technical insurance guidance and recommendations based on comprehensive risk and needs assessments.
  • Ensure favorable insurance conditions, coverage, and pricing while protecting the firm's interests and institutionalizing client relationships in accordance with business and compliance standards.
  • Maintain relationships with senior client stakeholders and address escalated service issues.
  • Represent the firm at industry events and conferences to sustain market proximity and thought leadership.
