The Department of Emergency Medicine is committed to advancing clinical innovation, medical education and research in emergency medicine. Our faculty apply cutting-edge expertise to train the next generation of emergency physicians and lead research initiatives aimed at improving emergency care, injury prevention and disease management.

Your Role on the Team

The Staff Physician will primarily provide patient care services at the Emergency Department at UCI Health – Irvine with the potential to work at other sites. Staff Physician is expected to comply with all compliance standards, complete all required trainings, and follow proper documentation process to meet the standards of the Compliance Office and Medicare regulations.

What It Takes to be Successful

Required:

• Candidates must possess an M.D. or D.O. and board certification/board eligibility in Emergency Medicine
• California Medical License/California Medical License eligibility
• An active and current Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) certification
• Ability to obtain UCI medical staff privileges
• Candidates must possess an M.D. or D.O.
