About the Role
Uber Advertising’s vision is to offer the most marketplace-centric advertising to connect Uber’s platform users (eaters, riders, and earners) with advertisers. Uber Advertising’s platform leverages location-based and shopping data across its mobility and delivery channels for brand and performance campaigns, enabling advertisers to engage with our consumers throughout the entire marketing funnel—from awareness through purchase to loyalty and advocacy.
What You Will Do
- Manage day-to-day agency and client Ad Sales, Strategy, and Account Management.
- Develop and execute ad partnership strategies to create long-term value for Uber’s CPG Clients, aligning with clients’ marketing objectives and goals.
- Handle external stakeholder management with media and creative agencies, maintaining direct client relationships from account executives to director levels.
- Build executive relationships across marketing decision-makers within client organizations to increase preference and unlock stakeholder influence.
- Participate in monthly, quarterly, or annual planning cycles with agencies and clients to influence budget planning and set common objectives.
- Utilize creative storytelling and data to quantify opportunities and influence decision-makers.
Basic Qualifications
- CPG/FMCG brand background at brand, agency, or media vendors.
- Understanding of digital media, brand marketing, and full funnel strategies.
- In-depth knowledge of the CPG industry, including key trends, challenges, and opportunities impacting advertising strategies.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills to build and maintain client relationships and close deals.
- A sense of urgency, resourcefulness, and a go-getter mentality; comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and navigating ambiguity.
- Ability to employ creative thinking and problem-solving skills to address complex client needs and develop innovative advertising solutions.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with CPG brands on a global scale, with an understanding of local and regional market nuances and developing strategies that resonate across different geographies.
- Understanding of various measurement and attribution models to accurately track and demonstrate the impact of advertising campaigns.
- Analytical skills to interpret data sets and translate insights into actionable strategies for CPG clients.
